A cult to Allaka?
This is a test I did for a temple. I wanted to do something mysterious with a great architecture. I think it's decent and suits well the lesser god of the seas. More pictures!
Not sure if it will be implemented in the town, but I think it should.

Update #4
Ladies and Gentlemen. Do you know what
is harder than building a 1000 plots town? Than applying to gazamo's
staff? Than breaking a Nokia phone? Than resisting the urge to sing
when hearing the song ''What is love''? Than being funny in this
blog? Harder than walking after getting a direct and accurate kick in
the nuts? Or than asking THAT girl for prom? Coming up with a name!
That's the topic for today. How we came up
with a sweet name for your town. So yeah, it took us ages to find the
perfect name for our town. We had tons of suggestions and ideas. Fun
fact is... that Lithaear wasn't even one of them. We had a few hints
to help us. The town will be a port town. It will be in a desert. Will
have a monarchy politic system... Will be baroque style...
We first tried multiple fantasy name
generators. http://donjon.bin.sh/ for an example. Here's a list of
names we came up with :

actually proposed to name the town ''Desire of Allaka''. Yes sir, I
did ._. … Then realized that it doesn't sound appropriate at all.
So
yep. A lot of names that we just tossed into the trash can. We had a
couple of interesting names though. One of them was Aquileia. We liked
that one since it sounds water-ish. Spajn even made some great tests
for banners.
First
of all, manly as fuck. No offence Spajn :) <3. After seeing those
pure concentration of Swedish virility *wink wink*, the name Aquileia
was really promising. But we still had some minor problems with it
(and I'm not talking about the banners). First, Aquileia sounds too
much like ''aquila''. Which is the Latin word for eagle. Which
doesn't fit our town. And secondly, some assistants just didn't feel
like naming the town Aquileia. So we jumped back to the long quest of
finding a name. Then someone came out with ''Meletheril'', which
apparently mean ''Loving ladies'' in elvish. What an awesome idea! I
mean, looking for elvish names! I was then rushing him to find a name
since I was creating this blog and I needed a name real quick. He
then came back a little bit later with ''Lithaear'' saying it means
sand and water. We finally found a name that suits a desertic port
town! And by the same time, found a quote : ''Where the sands
meets the water''. We all agreed to that name. And then a development
blog born.
Andronesia
kinda has the same problem when the two founders, Spajn and Icarusia,
were looking for a name. In rush to find find a name, Spajn typed
''Cool town name'' on google and found ''Andronesia''. Then a legend
born! A name that we can't forget. Fun fact, a lot said that the name
''Andronesia'' was kinda sexist since ''Andro'' means ''male'' in
Latin. Something the founders didn't knew when picking the name.
And
then ended our terrible name hunt. The result of the hard work of a whole team. That was quite long to write...
It's time for me to drop my quill and do something productive. Or
maybe not.

Update #1
Hello folks! Here's our new A'therys town development blog. The old crew of Andronesia is preparing something GODLIKE for AAv2! Lithaear! I, Frogy, will post anything that is related with Lithaear. There will be images, lore chapters, development stories and summaries. Etc, etc, etc.
Where should I start? Oh yeah. R.I.P. Andronesia. We'll all miss you. It was a hard decision to choose either to start with a new town or to keep going with Andronesia. After long hours of discusion, we finaly decided to take that chance to start all over again and make something ten zillion times better. There's other reasons why we decided to do something new. For starters, the land. As everybody knows by now, the whole world will be a lot different. So it would be too hard to find a place where the whole town could fit. And secondly, we think it is better for Andronesia to go in its former glory than to be rebuilt in a different way.
Lithaear will be a RP town. Mainly peaceful, but will still have an army. We decided to make it a port town. There comes the quote "Where the sands meet the water". Our town will have a strong political structure based on social classes. There will be the "Nobles" which are the assistants and very rich trusted members. Then for normal town members there will be the "Bourgoisie". Bourgoies will have the right to run a shop/buisiness in town. And with those buisnesses come town characters. For exemple: The doctor, the astronomist, the butcher, the blacksmith, priests. The new players and inactive one will be the peasants. They will have to work for the town in order to gain trust and a higher social class. A RP character that suits the town's lore is required to get a character in town. Note that you need said character to run a buisiness. That way we can create an economy that goes beyond just a bunch of chestshops in a market.
About the town's architecture. We decided to give a baroque style to our town. "But it doesn't suit the desert!" I hear you say. Hold on a minute my friend! According to our lore, the founder of the town is not from Ar-Selukk. ;) Also, town members that aren't in the buildteam will not be allowed to build any kind of stucture in town. You need to apply to our build team if you want to be a builder.We are currently building the town on a private server. We planned it to be more or less 1000 plots.
About said lore. It is obvious that with a new town we need brand new lore! I'll be writing lore with my super-profesionnal assistant Urbstudio. I'll will post it in this blog during the development. I plan to release lore chapters each day.
